Six students from Wayzata High School were recently recognized with the Prudential Spirit of Community Award for their outstanding community service achievements. Wayzata High School honorees of the Prudential Spirit of Community award include: Miranda Mead (junior), Tristan Nelko (junior) and Mimi Wang (junior). Their applications will now advance to the state level for judging. Two students will be selected from each state as "State Honorees" in February, 2017 and receive a $1,000.00 award and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. with a parent or guardian for a national recognition event. Honorable mentions went to Gabrielle Bobgan (senior), Saee Patil (junior) and Paige Goedderz (senior). Congratulations to these amazing students who are making a difference in our communities.
